OverWatch K9 Academy is led by Joey Morris, an animal behaviorist and professional trainer with more than 30 years of experience working with animals and dogs. His career has included working with species ranging from orcas and wolves to birds of prey, as well as training and supplying working K9s for law enforcement and government applications.

That depth of experience shapes how we approach the family dogs we train today. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all system, we look at the individual dog’s genetics, temperament, and motivation to determine how they learn best.

Our goal is to give Atlanta families training that is clear, practical, and built to hold up in real life—while creating dogs that genuinely enjoy working with their owners.
