This option is not a shortcut or a replacement for consistent follow-through. Progress depends on owner participation, practice between sessions, and realistic expectations based on the individual dog.

How often are lessons scheduled?
Lessons may be scheduled weekly or every other week, depending on your availability and your dog’s learning pace. Spacing is discussed during consultation to ensure steady progress without overwhelm.
Will my dog be fully trained after the lessons?
Private lessons provide structure, guidance, and skill development, but long-term success depends on owner follow-through and practice between sessions. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and understanding needed to maintain progress.
Do I need to be present for the lessons?
Yes. In-home lessons are designed to teach both the dog and the owner. Owner participation is essential to ensure clear communication and lasting results.
Can private lessons replace a Board & Train program?
Private lessons are ideal for many dogs, but they are not a replacement for immersive training in cases that require intensive structure or limited owner availability. During consultation, we’ll help determine the best fit for your goals.
What if my dog struggles around distractions or other dogs?
Distraction work is addressed gradually and intentionally within the Basic + Advanced program. Dogs are not co-mingled during lessons, and training focuses on obedience, neutrality, and handler engagement rather than social interaction.
What equipment is included?
Each program includes a clicker, training treats, and an e-collar to support consistency and clarity throughout training.
